It's pretty simple. Punch in what you're after and we send you back a list of what you can get and how good or bad it is.

Next to every product you'll see a little red speech bubble with a number in it. The higher the number, the better the product.

Is it pricey?

Our super service is totally free - how much you choose to spend on stuff is up to you.

To be honest, it would be better if we all just stopped buying things, but we're not going to do that, so this is the next best thing.

Invasion of the big foreheads

Many people think we're really clever because we worked this entire scoring business out all by ourselves. A couple of us do have higher foreheads than average, but to be honest, its just a lot of hard, boring research that we've compiled so you don't have to.

The science bit is a little algorithm we developed that takes all the different factors for each product and turns them into the percentage score that lives in the red bubble.

At etheco, we really want to help you shop responsibly, so we've developed a price comparison engine that scores the companies that supply the products and services that we sell on their ethical performance, and scores the actual products or services on their environmental impact.

The two scores are then combined to create our unique etheco rating. The higher the rating, the more ethical the product is. You can also compare product prices for the best deal.
